This field is a few miles from my house. I thought the fence was wonderful (as are the fall colors!) I was drawn to the imperfections that the fence had, the worn spots, warped boards, and the way it wasn't straight.

Editing: Adjusted the exposure value (up a tad) and set the white balance to cloudy. Cropped out a funky looking tree. Resized for DPC and used a touch of unsharp mask.

Hope you enjoy it!

This is beautiful. I would have prefered a gentler lead in with the fence like more from the side. The colors are grand. 7

The focus used, should have been more set on the trees rather than the fence. But still a lovely photo.

Good colors on the trees! The sky looks a little blown out (probabaly overcast, which happened to me too!) I would perhaps move the shot to include the tree on the left and leave a little bit of the fence out on the right. Otherwise, good detail and a lovely scene.

I would like to see this from a different angle so that the fence is not vertical.

Nice colors in the trees, interesting composition with the fence.
But the photo lacks punch. Might be improved with a bit of Fuji Velvia coloring and would benefit from a darker sky. This can be done by shooting RAW, underexposing by one or two stops and bringing back shadow detail with the RAW converter or Photoshop's shadow and highlight tools.

I think your composition would have been helped if the fences were seen at an angle. Also, the colors in the trees don't look quite natural.

Just beautiful! An autumn I can only dream about -- and experience vicariously through lovely photography like this!!!! It looks like an October calendar poto!

I assume the fence is the subject since my eye can't leave it. If not, next time shoot an angle to move the eye to the right subject. Colors are nice though

I love the scenery, colors and the lines of the fence. But speaking of the fence, I would have probably stepped 6 feet (2m - wherever you are from) to the right to make that fence line start little above the left corner and then show it flowing into the picture at a slight diagonal level. And that's just a suggestion coming from a fellow amateur photographer though. LOL

The gate is very present in this picture, I find it drawing too much attention. The trees are nice although a bit hazy.

Beautiful colors. I'm not so happy about the placement of the fence. It seems to bisect the photo too much.

Good location. What would it look like if you had stood to the left and shot it so the fence top was lower and had some green pasture behind? Maybe just elevating the camera to avoid the top of the fence matching the treeline.

I like the composition. Appears alittle washed out.

There is something very compelling in this unusual, complicated composition. I like it.

Nice, but I wish I wasn't looking right down the fenceline. Good colors.
