you probably heard it enough. Otherwise you have used the rule of thirds and have a clear focused picture. the quality is above average.

Not an artificial light source, so does not meet the challenge. Very nice scene though. Nicely captured, but still does not meet the challenge.

This doesn't look like an artificial light source which is what the challenge was supposed to be about.
11/20/2005 03:29:32 PM
very pretty..!

A great shot for a landscape challenge, but not an artificial light source as stated for this challenge.

Use a single, artificial light source to dramatically light the subject of your choice.

I voted low on this photo because the sun and moon are not artificial light sources. For a landscape shot, I don't find the colors here all that appealing either, so this particular shot in this particular contest I rated low.

Dramatic... but not artificial (as many people may have say to you). But a wonderful shot

this is beautiful and you can't beat the light source

Artificial?
11/18/2005 06:08:16 AM
It doesn't meet the cahallenge, very nice shot though.
You are not the only one, I made the same mistake.

i really love this shot and want to give it a poor score just because using the sun as a single light source shouldn't count, but i'm gonna give you a decent score just cuz i like the composition.

ok. how does a sunset meet the requirement of an "articial light source"?
11/17/2005 08:43:23 PM
I like the silhouette effect, but the sun is not an artificial light source.

unfortunately this is natural lighting and not "artificial"
11/17/2005 06:04:50 PM
The challenge was for a single artificial light source.
11/17/2005 04:15:58 PM
Nice picture but not really fitting in the challenge IMO. Looks more like a landscape.

Not really...
11/17/2005 08:26:45 AM
good picture but where is artificial light.

A very nice picture but I'm wondering what is the single artificial light sourse?

challenge requires artifical light source
11/16/2005 10:39:59 PM
It's quite nice, but as I'm sure you've already been told, it ain't artificial lighting.

I am going to tell what I sure you have heard over and over again...but is the same comment my photo is getting...the sun isn't artificial light...

Artifical Lighting is key to this challenge. Unfortunately this image DNMC.

The sun is not an artificial source of light.
11/16/2005 02:04:20 PM
I don't think that the sun counts as a light source for this challenge.
11/16/2005 11:46:11 AM
I am voting favorably for the suggested ARTIFICIAL light source, so the beautiful sunset you've captured here doesn't get a high score from me ... 4

Nice shot but don't think it meets the "artifical" light requirement for the challenge. You might be marked down on the scoring for that.

Was supposed to be artificial light. Would have been a great submission in the Landscape Challenge.

Nice silouette, but I am afraid the score will be lower than the picture deserves because we were supposed to use artificial light. This is a wonderful shot, love the sky and the light. You did a nice job photographically.

The challenge called for artificial light. Hmmmmmmmm NOt seeing that here although the scene and silhouettes are nice.
