I think you're squeezing the edges of the frame a bit too much.

Nice cityscape, but the triptych quality suffers because the outer panels don't really stand on their own. 6

This is a gret ideam however, maybe it is because I am looking at a 640 image but I would have cropped out bout a third from the top and also would have used cruves or levels to brighten it up a bit to show the lights better.BTW Like the drop shadows too.

How does the division of your picture into three frames enhance the photo? How does this "tell...a story or illustrates a concept or object" better than the original image?

Others did the same thing you did by making the images seem to float off the background. I think they were more successful because they had a larger boarder. Your small one makes the bottom look smudged. 6
