I was shooting ducks at the pond in my neighborhood park when I saw this great egret fishing. I caught it just as it stepped into the sun and speared a tiny fish.

To get a fast enough shutter speed in the late day's light I had to shoot at ISO 800, which made the image rather noisy. I used Surface Blur in the color channels to reduce it as best I could.

Great capture and lovely colors. Although his feet are under water, it feels like they are "chopped off", as I think they would be if they weren't under water. I know it's nit-picking, especially considering the subject, you have to act quickly.
