I like these. A last minute sort of thing. People I asked liked another one because these flowers aren't pretty. Would probably score better with the pretty flowers but something compels me to enter this one. Ah well....

BTW - always check your settings. didn't feel like reshooting at 100 ISO.

These flowers didn't have to be pretty, they are wonderfully interesting..this shot, even at ninth, was underrated...it is stunningly beautiful and very well composed.

Like the photo and the title. Well executed. One of my favorite photos of the challenge. It's amazing how you have personified two stems as if they were dancing. What a good eye you have. 10

I really like the photo but the contest siad to use a single light source "to dramatically light the subject of your choice". I think your lighting is really good just not dramatic

You really know the trade of making photographs.
The capture, light etc. seems like perfection.

Perhaps it could be interesting to try some non-classical composition
and experimenting with giving the picture a twist.
