The speckles are distracting. Watch your flash. |

I am not a big spider fan, but it blends well with the challenge... 7 |

While this suits the challenge very well the flash glare is overwhelming. |

Tiny, inconspicuous, and frightening, but not really camouflaged for that carpet.
Might have worked better if the carpet wasn't so dang clean. |

ewwwwwwwh!!!!! i hate those lurkers!! yesterday, my friend sprayed a spider with bug spray and about 5,000 babies popped out and started running everywhere!! EWWH! gives me the chills! geez, i digress.
ABOUT YOUR PHOTO: lol. i love the texture and the differing colors in the texture, it adds alot of visual interest. the spider still creeps me out, but i like the pic. fits challenge well. overall good job! :) |

Oooooooooooo, ick, ick, ick!!!! I hate those spiders! But on to the shot itself, just don't make me hold the spider, kay?
This is a great idea overall and the sharpness of the fibers in the carpet and the detail on the spider is outstanding. The DOF is well done but the light seems a tad harsh and there seems to be a little spot on his back area that's a tad blown out. The orange colors in the carpet are a bit distracting. Maybe if the whole thing was converted to Black and White and it would really make the spider a part of the scenery, forcing the viewer to spend more time looking for him. But again, great capture, tell me you killed him afterwards! LOL:) A 7 |

Based on the thread size, he must be a little guy, did you let him stay? |
