Really amazing! This is such a beautiful and powerful photo.
I wonder what it would look like with an American flag as the background? I like the black a TON but maybe if you put a flag background in, you could offer that as a print too, for the more patriotic types? |

I tend to like photos that have strong compositions over other things and this has that. I love how the eagle's head fills the entire left side in this profile shot. I would brighten the whites more but otherwise a great shot! |

I really like this profile view. On my monitor, I'd like to see a bit more contrast. It appears a bit flat. Nice sharp detail and composition. |

For being very new you really have some good shots in your portfolio. This is a great pic. Probably my only complaint is that it seems just a tad bit soft around the eye. Very nice work though. Enter more challenges! |

Yes it is 100 % real. It was taken at a local bird of prey centre. I was able to get within 4 ft of the magnificent bird then just zoomed in to fill the frame with the head. I was fortunate to be able to get the angle for the dark backdrop.
Lovely bird and within 10 minutes of this photo the bird was flying free. Great to see. |

How did you get so close to a real eagle? Or is it real? |
