Two glasses, sitting on top of a home-made softbox which is lying 'on it's back'.

I coloured the water with food colouring. I really wanted a deep red, but we had no red food colouring in the house.

Decided to enter another 'glass' shot as that's what I'd done for the last couple of 'number' challenges.

Took about 5 minutes from start to finish, as I already had the softboxes setup for somehting else.

Editing was just a crop, scale and sharpen.

The dice, the stemware...all start to look a like. It really becomes hard to be objective and maybe a little too advertisey for me.

Love the colours and clarity. (maybe if they had the same colours they'd be more even?)

background gradients are always appealing to me - and I like the way the rims of the glasses look. The loss of detail in the bottoms of the glasses is negatively impacting this image. This can be avoided by placing the light off to the side of the glasses instead of directly or nearly beneath them.

Stock photo material - nicely done. Great lighting. Looks like you spent some time getting the liquid levels just right too!

Nice choice of subjects to fulfill the brief.
Pity about the "stick" reflection in the green glass, and the big dark "blob" thing reflection in the blue glass.
More attention could have been paid to isolating the subjects completely from any reflective interference.
Furthermore, the colour is a bit "washed out".
Fix those things, and you'd have a winner!

Colors perfect, composition is good, well done! This is getting a very good score from me...
