though there is an even number of pencils whose thicknesses contain an even number, i dont think that the title transmits the iidea of Even, but rather that of choice.
i think the photo would have turned out better were it to be brighter, and perhaps cropped differently.

A good idea, but you're let down in your execution and composition. The pencils are too central in the image and you needed to crop this tighter I think. Actually I think it would have looked better rotated rightward 90 degrees. Nonetheless, the focus was fair and and the clarity of the pencils is pretty good.

Just for the sake of my obsessive compulsive nature, I would have the pencils exactly parallel to each other. And I would have drawn the lines using a ruler to make them exactly straight.
