This was a really hard challenge to decipher. I'm not sure how this will be accepted but with the rash of steroid use, I thought that this image would convey a sense of cheating that seems rampant these days in professional athletes.

Steroid use should never be used to attain success in one's sport.

Post Challenge:
For those who were wondering, the objects in the background are a syringe on the right and three vials to the middle and left. The droplet from the syringe is too small to see any noticeable figure. The object refracted is that of the light tent that I used to setup this image. My uncle let me borrow these props (he's a doctor). Although it was quite the interesting question during dinner,

"Hey mom (who's a nurse)... Uncle Jonas... ummm, do you guys happen to have any syringes and vials of drugs that I can borrow for this photo I'm doing?"

I was very impressed with this entry Rikki, its so good. I was one of the 6 who gave it a 10. I thought this would have ribboned.

Personally I think "Steroids do not lead to success" is a prefect entry for the Cheater! challenge. I would say the voters agree as well, I thought it would have been top 10 but hey 11 is pretty darn decent. What I think grabs my attention the most is the drip on the needle, awesome choice using green. The green is such a great contrast with the background and liquid in the needle, plus who wants something green injected into them. The shallow depth of field give a different perspective that really allows the voter to see what the subject is. Also normally I am not a fan of adding a border but I do think you made the right decision in using one. I can't think of anything I would change. Keep up the awesome work!

Cool photo! If you were to zoom in on the drop, what would the user look like?

Nice idea, but perhaps a little too centered, and maybe a little more detail in the background. However, still an excellent photo worthy of high marks. 9

great dof, great idea. if part of the point (no pun intended!) is in what's inverted in the drop, the drop is too small for me to see what's inverted. which is frustrating for me, because i'm really curious! : )

Great macro. Are those vials and/or drugs in the background as well? Love the framing and the colors of this image. Suits challenge perfectly. How did you get the drop to be green? Interesting!

Nice Macro but what is the background? I would remove the flare left of the drop!

Awesome looking photo. 3-dimensional on the steroid drop. 10

I think that the theme is on the title more than on the picture. Crisp image.

Very nicely taken photo which suits the challenge very well. I think the composition might be more appealling if the drop hanging from the syringe was on one of the thirds.

A great shot spoiled by the background which is either too in focus or too out of focus depending on what your intentions were.
