| That is one fantastic botanical shot, I just think its terribly wasted in an "odd" challenge. Makes me weep to have to mark it down |

| Nice lighting, background works well with main subject. Might have worked better with less leaf at the bottom. Overall very nicely done. |

| ooh, I like your lighting. The bit of backlighting and the way it makes the stem glow a bit is very pretty. I think maybe a crop to eliminate the leaves would have made the photo more striking, but even as it is, I really like it. |

| Imo the leaves could have been cropped out - highlights are blown on them, and with the challenge theme the flower & stem were sufficient.8 |

| I loved this. But the leaves are distracting. I'd like just the stem and flower. THEN you'd have a winner!!! Nice focus and great use of negative space. |
