This is a very elegant looking image. Burgundy for Two is a prefect fit within the even category. Pretty decent placement in the top 30. I love the coloring and warm glow from the backdrop drawing the viewers into the subjects. I would be curious to see the shot with a tighter crop. Of course I guess it might harm the background more if you cropped it too tight. The glasses seem to be an excellent choice especially since there are no spots, like you sometimes see on other shots. I really like what you did and I think the voters agree. Good job!

I love the gradiant background look, and the light in the glasses.
It has a sophisticated and delicate look.

Simply stunning - composition is perfect, right down to the level of wine in the glasses. Lighting is excellent - no hot spots on the glassware. Sharpness is spot-on, love the element of reflection. Lotsa visual appeal here! (10)

Kind of a dull shot, I don't like the lighting that much. The shot is too neutral and commercial. 4

This would be a good stock photo, with the empty space, but it lacks a something to focus the viewer's attention.

Technically very nice, crisp & clean, but very static image overall, difficult to react very positively to.

I'm all for good use of negative space but I think you fall short here. I think a tighter crop would have been in order here. Tighter on the sides and bring the top down to place all of the direction on the glasses. I do however, really like the lighting here.
