Contrary to a couple comments, the original picture IS in focus (look at the rock), and the ducks are sharp and clear. I'm thinking it may look a little soft because I used a pretty poor-quality lens (all I can afford at this point). I think I may have used a slight unsharp-mask, but I do not like the look of over-sharpened images (which there are plenty of on this site). All the same, the comments are helpful. Cheers. |

I really enjoy the clear reflection of the ducks on the surface of the water, as well as the gradient of the green colored water. The calm & simple background helps the viewer focus clearly on the subjects. Personally, I would crop a bit more on the bottom of the picture. |
