Critique Club checking in here!
Good exposure! I like to always say something positive about an image. Unfortunately, there is a lot 'wrong' with this - a weak connection to the challenge is certainly part of it, although from the comments the voters seems to have 'gotten it'. I see one bridge tower...odd, not even to me.
Technically the lighting is good, but the picture leans to the right ever so little. If you use PS it is easy to fix (see the tutorials on this site). Even a little lean can be exaggerated by the subject matter or lens used and I think some of that involved here as well.
Compositionally, the image is way too centered, very static and unexciting. The cranes in the lower left backgroud are very distracting and destroy teh harmony of the rest of the image. The sky is nice, the water is too. The cranes...yuk. the way the light is hitting them only makes them more distracting. The boat under the bridge to the right is also a distraction. In a basic challenge there is not much you can do to fix it though.

Symmetry is even, but probably not as interesting as some asymmetry. More sharpness would help. |

Angle of this photo is strange to me. I would like to see little more of the bridge. |

Even lighting is a hard concept to extract when faced with one pillar as your subject |

I suppose that by dividing your picture into four it fits the challenge. But I think you could have improved on the composition of this shot by including more of the bridge. Also, it's not straight |
