Thanks guys for your comments. I know not everyone expects to see a nature shot for "country", but that's what reminds me of country life.

Heh :) i hav ebeen doing a lot of flower photography for some reason lately.... especially water lillies and lotuses (which are harder to find).

As you already know, this picture is perfect. If it doesn't get two hundred 10s I will be surprised. You have MASTERED the bug flower macro including the imprortance of choosing exactly the right flower and bug. Plus I like how you have trained the dragonfly to face forwards and spread his wings. 10

As far as the photo goes, it's perfect. How this conveys "Country", I totally fail to see. It is implied, but not explicit.

Fantastic image.

Great subject and composition. I just don't think it has much to do with the challenge (Country Life) as it could be set in a botanical garden in a city.

I'd love to see this picture blown up as this is a great shot of this subject.

Silky smooth photo and certainly gets an 8 from me but it`s not the sort of photo that says country life to me. I think more of farms, tractors and cows. Had this been an insect macro challenge you would have got a 10.

This picture is awesome for the colors alone. Does it say, "Country Life?" Not REALLY, but I won't take off for that. It's still a great shot. Good cropping. Border isn't necessary at all though. Borders should be used to enhance shots. This photo needs no enhancing. Great job.

It doesn't really match my expectation of country life but it's a lovely photo. The shallow DOF is great, focus is great, exposure is great, composition is good and border is fine. Well done!

Nicely done. I wish those two out of focus petals would go away, though. I love how the flower completely contrasts with the background in color and focus.

Beautiful picture, my only 10 this challenge. Great green, the overall saturation is spot-on. The composition is good, even the angle of the wings is perfect. Nice one! 10
