See there wouldn't bee too much wrong if you had something going on in the sky...some nice clouds like in the one with your niece...but you can't really control that can you...if you can we need to talk |

Polarised? as mentioned rotate the horizon a touch, It may have looked better if you were lower down and broke the horizon with the trunk of the first tree so all the branches where 'in the sky'. You don't need clouds for a decent sky :) |

I think what would make this pop more is just a little saturation. I like where the trees are and your horizon, though its a little tilted. Saturate and maybe a little contrast? |
