 Metered on sky and then shot into sun for silouette effect of fence melded with the industrial shapes in the background. Everywhere I wanted to go was surrounded by fence, so I finally just figured I'd go with it and make the fence part of the photo. I liked the cold light which both obscured and echoed the harsh ugly character of an industrial area. I liked the way the pavement was shining in the sun and keeping the photo from being too dark. I thought this photo gave an appropriate mood to the theme industrial, rather than trying to take an industrial scene and make it something pretty.

People who are unable to see anything but what is "correct" are going to hate this. I'm unconcerned. Sometimes we learn more by breaking rules than following them.

This is a cool idea, but just seems to busy. Maybe if you moved closer to the chainlink and blurred it.

A lot of dynamics here, inside/outside, claustrophobia. The dark areas work to add mystery to the image

the sun interferes with my ability to enjoy this one as much as i would like to had it been framed or cropped differently.

I think this would be betterif you did not shoot directly into the sun. The light is too harsh.
