Very striking image - nice colors, lighting, nice editing.

Not so sure about the composition - my eye is drawn to the bright part of the image, almost dead center. the top of the glass is lost in teh BG / darkness yet there appears a second image of it (a reflection?)Muddles things a bit IMO. The OOF table edge vies for my eye as does the (other glass/reflection/decanter) on the right side of the image.
I think a change of camera position would have improved the image - move the camera up a bit to miss the edge of the table and show more of the reflection in the table top and hopefull put more emphasis on the top rim of the glass. The item on the right - it needs some seperation, perhaps move it back so that it is on the back edge of the sharp focus, again catching the nice color/lighting and perhaps it's reflection in the table too.

This could such a wonderful abstract!

The glittering amber shades gives this image a strong visual appeal.

like how the light works off the cut glass and whisky. a colleague walked by and was stopped in her tracks by this photo. that must mean it works! ; )

Nice idea but the out of focus table edge in the foreground is really distracting to me.

What great colours and shapes to work with. The lighting is superb as it brings out both th ecrystal and the liquid at their best. The composition leaves the point of the shot a little up in the air. Possibly de-centering or adding some more neutral background would enhance the central interest
