For what its worth I gave you an 8. I thought this would end up much higher. The colors and tones are excellent as is the composition. |

There's a crazy amount of negative space in this image. |

Truly a masterful study that can hang in any museum. The post processing has been ably handled by an acute artistic feel and the horizontal lines of foreground, water and then land and finally a leap into the eternal mist of the sky that winds forever upwards. A truly inspiring image. Bumping up. |

I love the subtle structure of the clouds. Great textures in the sand, dof, crop, and nice bird. Very well done! |

Wow ! So far my favorite study. A study of textures shown with the grainy beach and gull., the water ripples and smooth cloudy sky. The color blend is spectacular and the yellow boat or buoy is a plus. Good luck on this piece, look forward to seeing its ribbon placement. |

7 - Really like the color combinations in this. Criticism; 'if only' that bird really 'stood out', very difficult though. Good perspective, perhaps a tighter crop, quality dependent, not sure. Maybe even going for a 'thirds' type of composition here, with less clouds, may also have given this an extra 'edge'. |

I love the tones of grey, green and blue in this shot. It might be nice to have a little closer shot of the bird. He looks like he would make an interesting character. |
