Love this!
Looks like it from a living history area of some sort. Reminds me of Colonial WIlliamsburg, although the time period seems even older than that. |

As other people have already commented, I really like the storytelling feel, it reminds me a lot of that Stone Soup story, actually. My only complaint is that it looks like the lady is more part of the background, but otherwise the balance and composition feels good. |

I was about to comment on the story telling aspect of this photo, then I saw gsal's comment....... see - that photo really DOES speak to us!
I like its firm grip on reality, it is honest and gritty.
Even the rather dull lighting fits the situtation. Good one! |
