 First early snow on Saturday and I got a chance to snap this in our backyard. Thought it was appropriate for the season and had the idea almost instantly altho' I had wanted to enter another photo initially. Adjustments on levels, curve, selective colour, cloning, added the "misty" effect (sorry not sure what the filter is called as I'm using a french PS) and sharpening.

Hope I remembered everything. Oh well, another learning process if ever I didn't.

Post-challenge: Whoopee!!! My personal best and in my first advanced editing challenge too. Thanks to everyone who voted and left me such great comments. Glad it appealed.

This is a really nice shot, I think it could be 10 times better if the edges were nor washed out. I love the colors.

The blurring is a litlte too distracting and I would get rid of the other berry on the right, other than that, it's a nice picture and a great addition to the holidays. Would make a great holiday card.
