| Good subject matter for the challenge... but looks over-sharpened to me; also the hills off the distance are a little too "flat" looking. |

| the bales in the center form a leading line that leads your eye to the dead center, then the bale in the lower left draws your eye there. it does add a little interest, but it's unexpected. also, too much background. |

| Not done until you load them and store them in the barn for the winter. Hard work non the less. Good picture. |

| I took a hay bale photo, too! But did not submit it. Yours is better. Nice composition/still life. Colors are very muted, that that's a field for you this time of year. Perhaps B/W may work well here, as colors seem of little significance and your emphasis is on the structures of the bales? Nice. |
