Heck of a majestic tree! Nice scene. I bet if you keep after it, you could capture a really brilliant sunset as a back drop. While this one is nice, it's not "WOW". Also, be careful with the sharpening. The tree has been hit pretty hard with it. |

Good shot and use of the oak tree. I think this could have been a little more effective if you were able to underexpose the foreground a little more. In other words, the foreground should be completely black. in doing this, you can usually get a little more color out of the sky because you are limiting the exposure time and thus not washing away all of the colors in the sky. I am a big fan of oak trees and sunsets. Nice going. |

This picture makes me wish for the old days.... when people didn't have cameras and couldn't take crappy pictures like this one! |
