Camera: Olympus E-500 EVOLT
Lens: Olympus 40-150mm f/3.5-4.5 Zuiko Digital
Location: From inside the house
Date: Nov 6, 2005
Aperture: F20

Galleries: Landscape
Date Uploaded: Nov 30, 2005

Taken from inside the house because it was still raining.

Didn't change the sky colours, tried to capture the errie effect.

Cloned out a hydro wire, bit of dodge to bring out the first row of trees, minor USM, and save for web.

One of the more interesting landscape/sunsets in this challenge. Excellent colors and I like the mist (?) on the trees in the front

Nice!

Lovely orange in this shot. This picture may need some other point of interest to keep the veiwer's attention

I think the fact that there are so many sunsets in this challenge hurts you. If the bottom half of the shot were more interesting, it would match how spectacular the upper part is and make this have more appeal. Looking down into a valley, etc. I also think the bright yellow/orange sun line that runs across the middle of the shot should not be so in the middle. Maybe getting rid of some of the ground would help.

That's a sunset worth posting. Great capture.

Wow - amazing colors. The yellow almost pops a bit too much for my eyes as they keep getting drawn to the middle, right hand side. My favorite part is the bottom third. Nicely captured.

This is a very nice picture, I really like it, but I think competition is tough - good luck!

One of my favorite sunset/sunrise pics of this challenge. I think the forest in the foreground really adds to the "feel" of this shot.
