 This is something different for me and I have no idea how it will go. It does include a spoon so it does meet the challenge. :) Not expecting a lot but will be more than happy to meet my average and replace one my profile shots.

Good idea and lighting. I wish the background was a little blacker so that the slight wrinkles were not just barely visible. A small amount of Levels or Curves should take good care of that. I wonder if this shot would look good in black and white too, as the color doesn't add much to the shot.

Good job lighting this -- excellent detail and an original use of the challenge. (also, thanks for making me crave ice cream.). If i had to nitpick, I might say that I think a straight profile might have been even more effective than the slightly angled one here.

The attention to detail really made this shot for me. The clean nails, frost on the spoon, even distribution of ice cream are all great. Lighting is wonderful, DOF, colors and textures are spot on. Tilt to landscape was a nice touch as well. Good job! <8>

the illusion would have worked better of not for the small drip on the spoon that is now deying gravity and dripping sideways... :)
