Greetings from the Critique Club

Hello, moonjeong! How lucky I am to get to look at another of your images for the Critique Club.

Your image is just lovely, with good composition and a nice mood. Did you use a tripod? I think it would have helped this very nice photograph if it was just a little sharper and a tripod is good for that under difficult lighting conditions. Then, with a tripod, you could experiment with using a lower ISO to make it even more colorful.

I guess people were looking for literal candles providing "candlelight" rather than the quotation you offered. That may be why your score is not higher!

I hope you are pleased with this image. It is a nice one.

Nice photo but just doesn't do it for me keeping tight to the challenge.

Great pic, nice try at making it fit the challenge, but its too much of a stretch, IMO

kind of a stretch.

well nice image - but hard to tie to the challenge theme.

There is no candlelight in this shot. This is a big stretch for the theme.

I am open to OOTB thinking but this is not OOTB this is "if i titled this just right i can find an excuse for including it in the challenge". The sun is not candlelight. It is a ball of gas. Sometimes it is better to just sit out.

And the candlelight is where? Did you enter the wrong challenge? I find this not to meet the challenge, and I don't give scores that are high for shots that don't, even if the rules say you shouldn't vote them low if they don't meet challenge. Unfortunately, a lot of people tried very hard to take what is a difficult shot of a flame, and yours is a landscape/seascape shot. It's very pretty, but just perplexing to see it here in this challenge. I voted this very low. Sorry.

Ok, so I had to go look it up to be sure... I like the different take on the challenge. I hope enough people understand your title. Nicely done!

Unfortunately, candlelight does not create the impact in your photo.
