I think that if this was to be in a catalogue the whole object needs to be in sharp focus.

This is a nice photograph but I think it's stretching it to call this a holiday figurine. This appears to be a piece pf garden statuary with pagan origins,i.e,, a figure from classical mythology. Without the soft-focus tree in the background I wouldn't get any sense of the holidays from this. Maybe if the boy had wings?

good photo technically with really nice warm colors, but subject/emotion wise it feels kinda empty to me. the little figurine guy isnt cutting it. 7 for the depth of field, lighting and colors.
