Nice shot. A little blurry, but I think it adds to the feel. I would probably like it more without the flowers, but I'm sure you couldn't get rid of them.

Very interesting shot. Nice capture of a city behind the bartender. Would like to see this possibly in color too.
06/29/2002 08:13:00 PM
Good shot, just a hint of camera shake, though.

I like the city in the background. Too bad we don't have more of her face.

nice shot

awsome

Definatly a part of 'City Life' and the city skyline in the background helps. I also like the dark and moody effect the backlighting gives to this image, one of my top ten picks.

A little blurry, pixellated...seems like you over sharpened while trying to compensate for blur.

Beautiful. I think you shook the camera a bit, but the effect is nice. The lighting here is really dramatic, and black and white works well to enhance it.

Amazing lighting -- the black and white is really working for you here. Awesome contrast.

Probably as good as you could get for these lighting conditions, but not very viewable. Photo 6 City 6 total 6

Good choice of subject, and it works well in monochrome.

Nice composition. I like the city poster behind her and the bottles off to the left. It's a little bit not as sharp as it could be...I think it gives it an interesting feel, but I'm not sure others agree with me.

Nice shot! I believe the framing could be a little better to remove most of the darkness from the bottom of the frame... the black and white works well on this image :) = 7 - jmsetzler

Very excellent picture. The only thing that stops me from giving it a 10 is some .jpg or sharpening artifacts.

Nice composition, great mood. Is is soft focus or camera shake? Camera shake, I think, but it works.
06/25/2002 04:33:00 PM
I like the atmosphere of this picture. The skyscraper-poster in the background is a nice subtle touch.

I don't know enough about photography to know all the reasons I like this. I just do. Alot

I like the idea...lighting is a little harsh and the image is blurred. Why b&w? I would think the colors would be an asset here. 7

i love this. everything looks so soft and surreal...and the lighting is awesome. nice framing too! I only hope you take her a print of this! you get a 10 from me! --amitchell

I like the play of light, a lot! A little out of focus, but it doesn't bother me so much...
06/24/2002 11:40:00 PM
fuzzy life

Nice contrast.. Maybe a little too much exposure at the top, but then again that's were the light is coming from. Expressive photo. Well done.
06/24/2002 05:21:00 PM
A camera brace would have been helpfull here.
06/24/2002 03:34:00 PM
Was this taken through a window? Kee

nice... : ) shame it looks a bit blurry...
06/24/2002 11:42:00 AM
a bit jagged on the straight edges. The conversion to B&W makes it stand out more than it would in color. Maybe try to get in closer, or maybe an add on lens for zoom. I do like the lighting though some may not. also looks like you have a minor ammount of shake which was hilighted in the B&W conversion. tripod?

wish this was in better focus...great subject
