although this is nicely done, i am not a big fan of inverting an image purely to make it look more interesting. I do not find the candlight to have any impact in this image, it just "is".

That's a cool flame you've got there. I think this will place quite highly.

Very unique image. Not a big fan of negative images but this has a neat effect to it. I like the way the wick came out and you can really see the shape of it. NIce placement in the image and effective use of negative (no pun intended) space.

though it slal really light i feel liek its a dark photo, perhaps the flame inverses everything. one has a tendency to see a candle light and feel conforted by it, this does the compelte opposite which may be even better in reminding us its real properties. its cool. perhaps if you had used a different candle color ?

I think this is beautiful and it was a great idea to use the invert function. I love how you can see the wick glowing.

Nice and unusual effect.

flame lost on a large white sheet, the color of the candle is beautiful but I find the photograph unbalanced, nothing is not opposed to the candle.

Can't say I'm crazy about the inverted image technique. I'm sure just as many other folks will like it, though :)

very cool effect, i love it!... very minimalistic and abstract, definetly different from other entries. It would also be interesting to see this done with a couple of candles in the frame.

I think this could be a nice shot, the composition is really nice, but the inverted colors just don't work for many people.
