Nice blurring of the background. The network plug is particularly appropriate to your shot. This could easily become a desktop wallpaper. Also, good job lighting the clear plastic plug without too much glare. |

I like it. I would be interested to know how this was done. The plug is nice and sharp so I̢۪m confused how you blurred the background. Funny, this photo brings back less then fond memories for me as I had to wire 150 cables (both ends) for a network one night boy what a slow night that was. Anyhow nice job. |

Nice work maintaining a very sharp focus on the UTP cable while blurring the background. Let me guess... you attached the cable to the lens (or a similar technique), am I right or not?
However I feel that you would have gotten a better effect if the cable were placed horizontally, making it look like a flying snake speeding towards its prey. |

How did you achieve the background effect? It's stunning. |

The composition works with the subject placed well off-center and the blurr lines on the diagonal. Exposure seems to be correct though the lighting seems to be a bit yellow.
I'm having a hard time seeing the speed applied to the telephone/network cable. Maybe if the right side of the cable also had blur streaks this would work. Did you try the reverse effect where the background was sharp and the cable was moving through the frame? |

Sure! Super work. Diagonal lines create drama. Colors are interesting, too. 9 |

Green doesn't work for me, another color maybe? The ide and shot are good otherwise. |
