Took longer than it should to figure out that "Bob" was in this bunch with a sugar spot about right for a "dolphin". Tried first to float him, and finally after multiple trials anchored him down with rock in an aquarium with a blue backdrop inside to reduce reflection.

Thanks folks...just wasn't a great week for bananas in general. But this (as always) was great fun, personally challenging, and very pleased with the winners! Thanks again

I agree. I can't believe the other banana shots rated higher.

The problem here is that this banana's name is Howard, not Bob. So this does not meet the challenge. 1. (just kidding!) I love this idea. Your composition, point of view and lighting all create an effective image here.

Hahahah now that's what I like, a little humour. You have a good picture here, the colors are good. But most of all it is very creative.

Great title! I've never seen swimming bananas before, but the absurdity is what makes it so interesting.

Very imaginative and funny. It's too bad about the noise in the blue area though.

Brilliant Banter for a Banal Bubject. Well, I ran out of B-words. If the banana was wet it might have been more convincing, but it really does look like a dolphin. --7
