Meeker, as in Kent? I was heading there when I was invited on a boat ride. I think I would have pulled back and even found a slightly differnent angel so the mike isn't in the way.

Nice colors. Mike stand and tent rail (?) in upper left detract from the picture.

The mic stand and white reinforcement get int he way of your subject.. I think a wider angle is needed also to show exactly what she's doing.

Good idea, but not sure how well this works with her back to you.

If the spectators were lit better, and if the dancer didn't dominate the foreground so much, I'd love this image; sjgleah 5

In Kent, and I missed it! (rats) Very nice photo with great color! Too bad about the right hand side distractions, aim more to the left. I think I want to see the lady in blue.....

Very thin connection to 'City Life' IMO.

Weird... I do bellydancing and I've never seen a costume like that... those darts are awful! Hmmm.... I don't really get the point of this photo. Surely there were some better ways you could have photographed the dancers? Or were you trying to make fun of her?

a shot from the front may have been better.

I like the two children in the background watching from a distance, unfortunately the microphone stand gets in the way for me, as does the white pole on the left.

The other person's arm popping out of the dancers back kind of hurt this shot for me. The mic stand and the white pole (tent post?) also hurt it.

Is that Meeker as in Kent, WA? Looks like one of those tough shots trying to find a decent composition through the crowd. Nicely done, though I'm thinking that it might have been better to have cut off on the right to eliminate the mike and distracting background, then we could see her waving, maybe.

I like the color on this photo... The microphone and the tent pole make it a little busy, but I know that was beyond your control... = 6 - jmsetzler

Colorful shot.

I like the kid in red on the side. I don't like the guy behind the subject, though. And though you couldn't move them, the tent support and microphone are distracting.
