| i cant make out what the subject matter is byt nice photo. I count 3 lights. i guese its some kind of jelly candy. |

Just coming back to add comments...
I usually think of these little candies as Halloween candy... so my first reaction to this shot after going through a ton of Christmas pictures was "Yay! Some variety!" I like the way you used the colors to bring out different parts of the candy... the white bottom to highlight the yellow, the orange middles to highlight the white tip of the front candy, and the blue background to highlight the rest of the white tips. There's something unsettling about a piece of candy corn THIS big though. I don't know if you could have achieved the same use of colors though without using a close setup like this though. Nicely done. |

| The shallow DOF does not show all that well because there is no detail in the front candy corn to make it look really sharp. The picture also looks a little oversharpened to me (where the white part of the front candy corn blends into the orange of the background). Other than that it is a nice image. I like the composition, especially the curved setup in the back. |

| the blue in the backround is odd..and not really what 1 would expect....white all the way through would be more pleasing to the eye or possibly yellow but very soft and pail..just my 2 cents..good luck |
