Germaine is right, the line in the ridge is an artifact of editing - gotta clean that up >_<

20051216 - cleaned it up. The line on the ridge should no longer be visible.

I looked at the original, and it's amazing what a difference the conversion to b&w makes. Much more depth and feel, and I also prefer the squarish crop.

Minor nit, were you working with layers? There's a line along the furthest ridge that bothers me a little. It looks like it could be trees, but not quite.

I really like the picture. Thanks for sharing.
