How original! lol. I'm on vacation in Halifax, Nova Scotia and I just happened to take a picture of a speed boat. 2 minutes of editing and that's it. Hopefully I'll get over 5.

I like this picture, and it would be even more interesting if you used the rule of thirds. That poor man's face looks very burned!

Good panning technique. A nice crisp shot. Looks a little underexposed, like the shutter was too fast (which in turn helped keep the shot crisp). Moving left to right is a more natural feel for the eye. Moving R to L is not as natural. I might have considered flipping the photo so the boat was moving L to R, if you can get away with it.

oh.. back to the challenge:
nice clear shot, composition/framing done well, nice detail and capture of the splashing water.

Nasty bit of sunburn there! A bit too 'still' this, and a little dull. Slower shutter speed may have caught more action and let more light in. [4]

This shot would be better not centred... if you leave a gap infront of a moving object your mind says that it is moving into the space. Putting the boat a little more to the right of centre here would have been better. However the shot is clear and has great colors!!

Nice example of speed. Bit dark, colors are flat, but not too shabby.
