The quality of this shot appears to be very poor. Perhaps a lot of digital zoom was used. It almost looks like an effect.

I see the speed. The image quality is below average in focus, lighting and color. You can't make out the kid's face either - try to use a tripod or some solid surface to balance the camera.

Its like you have used a brush stroke filter on this picture I dont think its doing anything for this picture I want to see some focus :)

Looks like you added a filter effect to this? If not, I'm not sure why it looks like this. Maybe you had to crop it too much? In addition it is tilted a LOT to the left.

Something like this actually has potential, lots of strong colours and action and hotspots. IUnfortunatly it needs lots of control (See //www.artofeurope.com/brueghel/bru11.htm and JS Lowry for what I mean) to make it work.

You could almost convince me that this is a watercolor painting, instead of a photograph. It definitely catches a sense of speed, but I'm not sure the fuzzy nature of it works to its advantage - it looks as if, taken with a bit more care and presented at a higher resolution, it might have looked like a crisp moment-in-time that could have been quite riveting.

lacks focus -is this a close up cropped from an original?
also would suggest seeing if your editing program allows you to straighten the photos before you enter them.

I can't tell if this has a watercolor filter applied to it or if it was resized and distorted. It is an interesting look - but doesn't say Speed to me.

Not sure of the filter/[s] you used but they don't really work for me. I don't see speed...I see action.

There are some serious quality issues on this one, I'm afraid. Everything is "blotchy" and poorly defined. Compositionally, I think it would have been stronger to keep all of the kid in the foreground in the frame without cutting off the leg.

focus is too soft

This would be a great photo if something anything was in focus. Either the runner of the adults in the background but as it is nothing is in focus.
