 After taking about 150 shots for this, my wife asked if I was finally going to take a picture of the WHOLE tree LOL! Post editing = cropped, USM, healing brush on a few dust particles on the ornament, and resized for the web. Enjoy!

This is nice. I think it would be better if you had placed the light so that it wasn't included in the shot since it distracts from an otherwise very simple composition.

The light sticking out of the corner is distracting to the overall picture. I would have liked it cropped out, I think.

the color saturation highlights in this are way distracting..and read as too hot on the oriniment

The use of depth of field isn't all too bad, but there is a lack of creativity as this is one of the many of people who resorted to a very easy shot with a christmas tree..
