Ashamed to admit that I didn't enter and never did get around to voting on this Challenge, but I just read your background on this. Even without the fascinating story, I REALLY love this image. The single drop is perfect. I'm impressed you shot it while shaking in fear, as well! Glad you finished in the top 20 - Congrats! |

You and my daughter have something in common, just talking about needles makes her start to twitch. Great job on conquering your fear enough to be able to take this awesome shot! |

I really thought this would place higher, Robt. It got a 9 from me. Congratulations on top 20. |

This is awesome! The sharpness on that little dot of fluid against that great bokeh background is so amazing! Congratulations on a top 20 placing! |

Love the focus on the drop. Reminds me of something I did not too long ago. This seems easy enough but is actually quite hard to do. Great job! 8. |

Great use of shallow depth of field to emphasize the needle. Yikes! |

Very nice photo - doesn't say fear though. |

Perhaps focusing on more of the needle part while still keeping the back part out of focus would have focused more attention on the needle. |

I really like the shallow DOF, could have entered this in the other challenge as well :) |

7 - Good. Good use of shallow DOF. Criticism; difficult, perhaps the dark area bottom left 'gone', and being able to 'see' the end of the syringe/needle, would have made this even better in my opinion. |

Outstanding!!! By far the best needle phobia shot in the challenge. Love the dof too. Good Luck! |

A more dynamic set of colors would of been cool here. The colors in my opinion are way to neutral, as am I with the voting. |

Sheesh, did you want this in phobia or Shallow DOF ? |

Good use of DOF, but would be nicer with plain background. Anyway it does convey the fear. |

Perhaps better in the Shallow DoF challenge. But, does not convey a phobia. Simply needs to show emotion |
