| Great concept, though I wish that the shot was zoomed in much closer on the patterns. The motion blur is also a little distracting to me. |

| Cool picture. I would have cropped in a little more to show off more of the hawk's "pattern", as that is the subject of the challenge. Nice shot though! |

| Pretty impressive shot but really doesn't feel like a pattern shot. Seems forced as a way to get a pretty shot in the contest. I'll give you a 6 for the excellent photo. Would have been a 7 if the "pattern" was more obvious or the title was better. |

5 - Good potential. Criticism; depending on quality and what you had to work with, a really tight crop on this, eliminating the keeper's hand (even if that means 'cutting' the tail/feet/talons/etc), especially for this Challenge, would have likely made this much better in my opinion. Likely still be 'blurred', but still would enhance the pattern more. edit:typo

| This seems to be more about the bird and its handler than pattern. Isolating a single area of the bird's feathers would have made a stronger statement about pattern. Also, this is quite a bit overexposed. |
