 I saw this username and thought it would be fun to do a macro of my new son's face predominantly displaying his nose. I shot it with my Canon 100 mm macro lens. Anyway, just for fun.

Greetings from the Critique club. After spending some time reviewing your photo I have a few suggestions on how you might have score better. First though cute child. Nice focus on the nose, its definately the focal point of your shot and ties in well with the challenge. The username you chose was tough to pull off, and that may have hurt your score a little. I'm not sure how you could have finished off the the prints, maybe a little peice of glass pressed lightly to the nose to give the "prints" portion of the username. The color seems a little off, not sure if its a white balance issue or a saturation issue. But it does take away from the photo and the score reflects that. Might have even tried B&W to see if that helps. Good luck with future challenges.

Cute photo for your chosen user name. The little tyke looks quite orange. If the skin tones had been less saturated I would have scored this a point higher.

Not sure how "noseprints" goes with the photo. It seems you may be trying to force a cute baby photo into the contest and unfortunately I'm not a fan of baby pics so you lost me. Good luck though....not bad image qaulity.

Not getting the "prints" on this. Maybe is the nose was up against a glass or something, but cute child!
