Christmas Day at Metrozoo and my girlfriend pointed out these four wheeled bikes. I waited for a family to walk to the end of the line of cycles and put to use what I have learned from your pics and coments over the last year of watching. I hope your tutorship pays off on my first submission. I hope for your constructive criticism. Thanks everybody.

Greetings from the Critique club. And welcome to the DPC challenge submissions. You did rather well for your first entry. You met the challenge description well. Presented a wonderfully colored and composed photograph. Which are important points for high scoring entries.

A few things to work on for the next entry. Watch the background. I know its tough to do, but try a few different angles, look it over real well, try to find an angle that will at least get you a good crop of what you want. Might even begin with the bike closest to you and crop it off the back. Edit to add using the challenge description in the title of your entry usually gets points taken off. Overall I think you did real well. Good job and best of luck with future entrys.

Thanks for everybody's comments. It sounds almost completely unanimous! You don't like the people in the background...and now that I've been considering all the comments, I agree. Day before yesterday I recropped and didn't like the results, so I actually went back to reshoot the pic from a different angle and all of the bikes were scattered. Oh well, I'll try again from time to time.

Love the color on this one, it just jumps off of my screen. Nicely done.

interesting idea but it doesn't do much for me

The people and the background to the left are a bit distracting...you might have used a less severe angle and filled the frame as much as yuur could with these colorful transportation devices...Great colors on them.

Too much DOF - need to blur the background on this or compose by angling more? Just MHO. Nice subject matter.

Good eye. Very colorful scene! I might have been cool to get down and shoot almost through the wheels.

This is really cool! Love the colors. I would have just cropped in a little more and taken the people out of the picture - brining the "pattern" more into play. Nice job though - good luck!

I think this would have a been a bit more effective if you'd cropped out the people on the left in the far background. Still a nice shot though.

I think a closer crop would have made the photo more powerful.

great colours - I wonder if the crop could have got rid of those people on the left?
