| The light in the shadows is great here! In the sun, it may be a bit bright. You might try experimenting with dropping the levels to make the whole image darker, which might add more mystery as well as keep areas from being burned. |

Oh! I love this place! If I remember correctly it's in New Mexico... can't remember why it was abandoned tho... drought?
Edit: Nope I was wrong it's in Arizona... still not sure about the abandonment tho... |

+ Good match for the challenge.
- Line leading from lower right corner seems to pull me away from the village.
- This is a tough one, but overexposed areas on the left are a little distracting. |

| Very well done - great idea for this challenge. If the sun had either been completely in or completely out of the picture, it would be a 10. As it is, I'm giving it a 7. |

Some subjects lend themselves to this contest more readily than others. Congratulations to you on getting this subject.
Nice photo. What lens did you use? I'm interested in the composition as you got a good, long view of this setting. |
