Headed out late yesterday afternoon to try and photograph some of the new snow. Unfortunately, I only had about ten minutes before it was too dark. Heading out again soon!

I like the effect you've created in this image with the foreground tree contrasted against the lighter background trees. The soft edges of the foreground tree and the fence give the image a very calm and peaceful effect! Almost makes me wish I were living back in Montana instead of Arizona! ;~) I also like the border you used in the image...not stark and distracting but more more blended with the rest of the image! Great Job on the post processing of this one!!

What a wonderful photo of the beauty of snow.... how it blankets each branch, each limb, casting that rare blue hue, so pristine.... making me really miss my eastern home and long for the snow... thank you for sharing

Reminds me of my favorite poem by Robert Frost "Stopping By the Woods on a Snowy Evening." The foreground gives us a place to rest, before we travel to the back of the shot via the fence. The minimal amount of trees there showcases the beautiful blanket of new snow. The blue cast just sets it off for me. WOW
