This is my favorite for sure. The soft tone in the back ground and the colors are very nice. I can tell Shasta has lived a good life. Nice work. |

My favorite so far! Really natural looking pose, but kind of polished looking as well. The lines and colors just work together very nicely in this shot, and I like her looking right at the camera. You've done a really excellent job with this series. |

The softness works well in this one, places the emphasis on her expression, this is a great shot, I love it, the expression, the eyes are in focus and just her whole pose with the presents in the background. |

Awe - look at that expression! Nice shot. It's like she is inviting you to come pay with her and her toy. |

Greetings,
Great shot, I'd like to see a little bit more blur to the left of shasta's head on the bricks, otherwise great shot.

I'll bet that the owners will like this expression - it must be characteristic of Shasta. The blurred background at top is very nice as is the toy. If you can, try to better match the blur in the front paw area, paw to background or background to paw. |

from thread:
another of my favourites, great expression, dreamy homely atmosphere, toy fits well... My one criticism would be the big difference on sharpness between the head and body.. I'd maybe try and sharpen the body a tiny bit to reduce that difference. |

Nothing to say here, really, other than to comment on how beautiful this shot is. Shasta's face is nice and sharp and the background is well taken-care of. On reflection, I feel that the blur could well be better if it were applied a little more uniformly. Shasta's right front paw (and, indeed, the stuffed toy) seems to be almost jarringly sharp compared to the immediate area around it. Perhaps the blur could be applied in an oval shape, rather than via what I assume is a custom mask.
