I like very much the editing proces you used here, the pose and the colors... very original

This is lovely. I love the grainness everywhere except on her leg which looks like a skin disease. Everything else is beuatiful, the composition is wonderful, your attention to detail is perfect, like on the earring and the lace shpe between her breasts. lighting is exquisite, Colors are perfect. Frame could be better. I hope this gets a ribbon! 9

i really like this image. i think the lighting is super and the graininess is great. it reminds me of vintage nudes. great job. i happen to like your border. I usually don't like borders at all :)

Looks like a really great model. If she doesn't want to show her face, I think ditching the panties would have made this much more sensuos, even if very little of the good downstairs got shown. But I think it would've been better to show just a hint. The panties unfortunately disrupt the continuity of her body line, which is very well portrayed by you. The effect on it I cannot stand. I'd have taken this regular and put a little dreamy effects on it or some other diffusion type effect. A good piece of work with the actual picture taking. post process is disappointing.

the texture is distracting.. i think it would have been better without... nice concept very cramatic, i like where the picture cuts off just past her jaw and ear, even the border adds... which i typically dont like..kudos

I just don't like the art/filter effect you have used here. It makes it look less like a photograph. the composition is fine, and the sensuality is expressed well. I would have spent more time resolving the bikini line instead of adding a textured effect.

the frame, the lace and the texture take this from nude to boudoir, imho.

I'm completely against the photoshop filter on this one. It completely ruins the shot.

how did you get the texture without retouching??
07/11/2003 07:11:36 PM
Very sexy look to this.... I like your choice of (filters) texture imparted into this shot. (Could do without the border).

Filters giveth, and filters taketh away. this one takes away form the image, as does the border. compositionally, I like it, and i think the lighting is good (buit the filter makes it hard to tell) Good on ya for taking a chance, ,but this time it didn't work.

Nice shot but it could've gone without the filter. Without the filter I'd give it a 9, with the filter I'd give it a 6... It ruins the softness of the photo but hey I can't vote so it doesn't matter. :)

I like ths composition, but I find that the crop is too tight. I'm not a fan of chopping people's head off. The colours are nice, the reddish earth tones work well. I don't like the border, and am not crazy about the canvas texture you gave it, although I can see what you were trying to do. I would have seen this in a soft focus kind of style. Good luck.

I love the colors, the light and the pose and the body.......I hate the texture.

I like the "canvas" look to the photo. I almost didn't see her head. Maybe panning the camera a little to the left would have helped that? Nice work and good luck in the challenge.

the effect used on this really gives the skin a bizarre texture, i like the shot but not the skin effects

I like the filter you used, and I'd like the rest if this were for another challenge. No offense, but it's not very nude, you know?

very nice pose. Super duper leading lines. I'd like to see this in soft focus, instead of this Photoshop texture (kinda looks like celulite). Jacko. 8

I'll tell you what: this show is absolutely lovely! And I feel so sad that you felt the need to add an old canvas texture with photoshop. The colors and composition are so lovely in themselves, I strongly feel that the added texture distracts from this lovely shot, especially in the dark areas such as the lower right end on the leg and hips. 7. (this photo could do without the current border. The colors of the border don't match at all with the photo. Perhaps no border, or a simple balck border would have worked better).

Not to fond of all the heavy editing and texturing here, althoug hit does give it a somewhat painterly feel.
