Wow, Peet! The single stationary figure offset against the movement of the water and the people makes for a great picture. Well done! |

That's a pretty cool shot - the colour is so rich and the silky smooth water from such a long exposure really give this photo a surreal quality. The title might have had even more impact if not for the two people on the extreme left. Good work though - I really like it. |

Absolutely brilliant. I love how the slow shutter speed affects the water. |

Interesting composition, colors, subject, flowing water, emotive. Wish for just a touch more sharpness and less-blown white lights, but the major elements pull me in nicely. |

the water and the girl in perfect stillness look great but the lights are too blownout and the overall color is too orange. |

Very nice job to make the surrounding people seem ghostlike. The long shutter gives a nice tranquil look to the water, too. My only (minor) concern is that the saturated lights look a bit harsh. |

Very original combination of fauve color, stopped motion, and perspective on the city |

Thoughtful message...sadly it's so often true, a person can be alone and isolated among the millions. Nice composition although the building on the top left is distracting.. |

oh this is really cool... i love the long exposure in the water... great title. i wish there werent so many bright lights to the right there, they are kind of distracting, but this is still a really great shot |

Great theme. As a city person I can relate to the emotion. tones are freat but the overexposed light on the trees detract IMO. |

Awesome picture. In a city so big, in the middle of running water which seems still and lonely |

Awesome long exposure shot. I love the soft water combined with the night time. It's not something I'm used to seeing. Nice of your model to stand still long enough for the exposure. :) Well caught and executed!9 |

I don't like the overly yellow cast and the highlights are very bright. However I do like the concept and composition a lot. |
