The wide angle distortion and bit of motion blur, together with the patterned street makes this a dynamic scene.

Interesting low down perspective but I think the foreground figure actually blocks off an area of the image where the gaze would like to travel

Bravo! One of just a handful of photographs in this challenge that are actually about city life, rather than merely of city life (in fact, I'm being kind; most are not even of city life, they're just photos of some thing that happens to be in a city). So, the fact that you found a way to say something worthwhile and witty about living in the city means you were already three quarters of the way to a meaningful photograph in that instant of inspiration. And such a good idea, too! The man, in business suit with his business papers trapped under his arm, gulps from one coffee cup while holding a second in reserve. No doubt the second is actually for someone else, but your suggestion (reiterated in the title, for those requiring subtitles) that he needs to be a double-barrelled coffee drinker to deal with city life, is very clever.
The actual photograph is perhaps mediocre, from a technical point of view, but I don't care about that at all. And I'm sure you don't, either. The technical shortcomings do serve a useful purpose, however; they give those voters who are not prepared to understand your photograph something to comment about.

Great shot! Big City image, yet the streets were clear, helping isolate the subject. Nice!

Exciting. Good colour and composition. I love these "stealth" kinds of photos. The blurred car bothers me, but c'est la vie.

Nice shot with alot of great 'city' elements. I like the way you've composed this and the candid feel it has. The wide angle looks great too..... 7

latte? the corners seems to have a bit of pincushion going on and it distracts from your subject..

Is that a misprint for latte? Or is there a double meaning to it?

A sharper /closer image of the subject would be nice - perhaps if he wasn't turned away - or the same photo from a different angle ?

The composition needs a little work. The choice of subject matter is ok. The image quality is ok. Could have been a little more creative. - 5

i'm slow...so i'm glad i hung around this pic for a sec. Very clever. I was initially distracted by the speeding by car...and upon further reflection, i'm still distracted, but overall a cool idea.

I don't get the title ... is it meant to be "double latte"? The concept is ood, and I must wonder how long you stood waiting for the right shot. The movement you have captured added life to the picture. The man does seem slightly distorted if you look at this papers.
