You nailed the long exposure. Take the time to tidy up, it's worth at least 1 extra point. You need to rotate so that the vertical poles are vertical and could probably crop to the two outside poles. That would give us a better look at the street detail. As it is, the black foreground almost dominates the shot

Nice capture of the lights, with a good star effect. Why not move closer though (or crop)--I don't think the parked cars add to the beauty or life of this city scene.

Curious, is this Afton, WY?

I would like to see something more novel. As it is, the scene seems a bit ordinary. I'd try to take more risk in choosing your scene.

Personally I would have put my self into a different position. Also a high f stop to give a better depth of field. The problem with that is that you would need a longer exposure and thus possibly take the photograph a lot later at night to avoid the car headlight streaking.

A very "snapshot" picture, that doesn't really work on any level beyond that. It might fly as a "drunk at 3 A.M." thing, but it's just not a very good picture.

Looks like a dull city -- no traffic, no people, little color.

Love the star effect, but the open foreground is a little bland. You could maybe have cropped in on the busier backgroung.

Good attempt at night lights. Perhaps a different location or cropping could have given a more dramatic focal point - perhaps the XMAS lights across the street.

Composition is ok. The choice of subject matter is ok. The image quality is a little below average. - 4

not very visually appealing. too many bright lights and it looks a bit tilted.
