 At the Central Florida Zoo in Sanford, Florida, my wife and I watched two young lesser white-nosed monkeys (Cercopithecus petaurista) play with each other in their enclosure. An adult watched wearily from his or her perch above.

At one point, the younger monkeys bumped into the adult, who seemed quite displeased. The 'play' broke up quickly. One of the smaller white-nosed monkeys approached the adult and began nuzzling. I couldn't help but to think that it looked like the young monkey was begging his or her parent to let him 'go back outside' ~ to play a little bit longer! "Pleeeeease..."

It was amazingly cute.

Cute little guys (gals?). Would prefer not to have the rope on the right side, though.
