The light grey stands out on the dark earth background. The angular shapes in the mountains reflect the angular theme of the ship.
Two things might be better, but opportunity may not have allowed one of them.
The wake sort of messes up the foreground, so shooting it while returning to the ship would eliminate that.
The other is try for the "rule of thirds" a bit, by moving the main subject a little off center toward a corner.
I feel that the timing was right to get the right relationship between the sizes of the ship and mountains, so that one does not overpower the other.
